He’s delusional indeed. Let me ask a few questions: Are we safe now? Can we declare victory on our enemies? Is Judaism thriving or declining? Are most jews in Israel shomer shabbat today? “Mr. Peres you don’t represent Jews nor are you an observant Jew”! You are not Moshiach nor our leader in anyway to declare victory for us..
I’m no fan of Shimon Peres, but give him a break on this one. Our very existence is a victory for Hashem and us against all our historical enemies.
