Rochester, MN – A new report by the prestigious Mayo Clinic states that conclusions by Australian and U.S. researchers has determined that the benefits of infant male circumcision outweigh the risks by over 100 to 1.

On its web site (http://bit.ly/1mSSBiQ) the clinic posted the study, conducted by Dr. Brian Morris, a professor emeritus in the School of Medical Sciences at the University of Sydney, in Sydney, Australia, along with colleagues in Florida and Minnesota in the U.S., found that 50% of all uncircumcised males will contract an adverse medical condition caused by their uncircumcised foreskin during their lifetime.
The study also found that the rate of circumcision among U.S. men has increased from 79 to 81 percent over the last ten years.
Dr. Morris said that, due to the study’s findings, medical professionals, health insurers, and policy makers should now be viewing infant male circumcision the same way they do childhood vaccinations.
Morris said, “The new findings now show that infant circumcision should be regarded as equivalent to childhood vaccination and that as such it would be unethical not to routinely offer parents circumcision for their baby boy. Delay puts the child’s health at risk and will usually mean it will never happen.”

We really don’t need Mayo Clinic nor anyone else to approve of anything that the Torah tells us…
I don’t know how prestigious Mayo is if they would publish this. One of the main numbers is wholly inaccurate. The rate of infant circumcision in the US is presently 55%, not 77%.
