Manhattan, NY - Gov. Paterson is being treated at an Upper East Side hospital after checking himself in for a severe migraine.

WABC is reporting that Paterson arrived at Mount Sinai Hospital this morning complaining of severe migraine symptoms He reportedly underwent a cat scan and is currently resting comfortably.
Officials say Paterson has been treated for severe migraines in the past.
A spokesperson did not immediately comment. The governor's office is said to be issuing a statement shortly.

Aides say N.Y. Gov. Paterson has acute glaucoma; no long-term health effects expected.

Gov. Paterson has been released from the hospital, and is recovering at home.
