Jerusalem – Al-Quds University Professor Faces Backlash Over Taking Palestinian Students To Auschwitz

    WASHINGTONPOST.com (http://wapo.st/RfXsOr) reports that Professor Mohammed S. Dajani, who accompanied the students on the trip as part of a research project called “Heart of Flesh – Not Stone,” which is geared to promote empathy and tolerance.

    Dajani, and the trip, became the subject of extreme criticism after a story reporting the trip was published by HAARETZ.

    Dajani, who is a Palestinian nationalist, said he was surprised at the extent of the negative reaction to the trip.

    “I thought there would be some complaints, then it would be forgotten,” Dajani said.

    The trip was funded by the German Research Foundation and organized by the Center for Reconciliation Studies at Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany.

    Reps for al-Quds University said that Dajani and the students were not acting as representatives of the university during the trip.

    Really think he has some common intelligence. It is a horrible shame to see the monsters allowing themselves to be even bigger monsters, but who is to expect more. Just remember, there are always climates of self-control. And the palestinians as well as even some in our jewish communities want to control the very firm expression of human experience today. Perhaps its not just isolated to the palestinian world and in that case, it can be a prayer we can have for our voices to be heard in higher places when hate is a considerable foe.

    The entire Palestinian narrative is based on lies and slander. There is no room in their agenda for eye witness testimony

    Dajani is the founder of the Wasatia moderate Islamic movement. Hopefully it will become more prevalent than the extremist Islamic ideology that is all too common.
