NYDAILYNEWS.com (http://nydn.us/1ihTJte) reports that Hynes, who was deposed on Dec. 19 as part of Jabbar Collins’ $150M wrongful prosecution suit against the city, said that he no longer believes Collins was guilty of killing Rabbi Abraham Pollack in Williamsburg in 1994.

Under questioning from Collins’ lawyer Joel Rudin, Hynes said, “I no longer held that position.I didn’t have that view because there was no case anymore.”

Hynes also testified that he believes there was prosecutorial misconduct committed in the case by his underlings, telling the panel, “There is absolutely, never has been, any doubt in my mind that it was a clear unethical … act of misconduct.”
