    The two leaders reportedly discussed current international conflicts, including the situation in Ukraine and talks regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

    Putin reportedly blamed Kiev’s irresponsible policy for the recent military escalation in Ukraine.

    According to his self-run news source, Putin slammed the country’s disregard to its Russian-speaking citizens.

    He added that the use of armed forces to suppress public protests in southeastern Ukraine is unacceptable, according to Kremlin news.

    The leaders will apparently continue to discuss issues of mutual importance if necessary.
