Other items include a photograph of the destroyed Warsaw ghetto soon after the 1943 uprising.

The exhibition also features a 1946 booklet for U.S. servicemen stationed in Germany during the first Passover after peace began. It compares Adolph Hitler to Pharaoh, who enslaved the Jewish people. Dwight D. Eisenhower, the military leader who went on to become president, is compared to Moses.

The free multi-media exhibition runs Thursday through May 7 at the Fifth Avenue landmark building.
Holocaust Remembrance Day begins Monday at sundown.
