New York, NY – New York University students were the target of a pro-Palestinian propaganda prank Thursday morning when they woke to find eviction notices on their doors.

As reported by The Times of Israel (http://bit.ly/1mEVgue) the students living in the Palladium Hall on NYU’s campus – a dorm know for it’s high number of Jewish students – found mock eviction notices on their doors placed there by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) to draw attention to what they say Palestinians face “on a regular basis.”
The notice stated that if the students did not evacuate the dorm by midnight on April 25, their remaining belongings would be destroyed and they “cannot be held responsible for property or persons remaining inside the premises. Charges for demolition will be applied to your student accounts.”
It also went on to say that this type of eviction is a common practice for Palestinian families living under Israeli rule only because of their ethnicity. Written at the bottom of the eviction statement was, “THIS IS NOT A REAL EVICTION NOTICE. This is intended to draw attention to the reality that Palestinians confront on a regular basis.”
Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) condemned the prank in a press release, saying, “Disgusting is too nice a word for what these so-called activists did,” said Hikind. “Their attacks directly targeted Jewish students for no other reason than the fact that they are Jews. No one knew their political views, their opinions on Middle East policies. Maybe these students are Zionists, maybe they’re not. It would have been wrong regardless, but the point is clear. The threats and intimidation were racially motivated. This was pure hate.”
Hikind went on to call on NYU’s administration to take action against those responsible for the prank.
SJP ran a similar campaign at Northeastern in Boston earlier this year, resulting in a one-year suspension for the group.
That wasn’t so “funny” . What would have been a “fun prank” if the jewish students would have put on the ARAB muslim student’s doors, posters with directions for suicide bomber vests ……now that would be funny.. and all the “poor muslim students” would scream hate crimes and intolerence

Didn’t the palestinian and BDS scum try this at University of Michigan too recently? If they want attention, maybe they can sell their own voice to the lowest bidder. They are already giving it away for cheap supply.

They forgot to write that Israel only does this at the home of a suicide bomber or known terrorist. Let’s not forget the reasoning behind it and understand that it is NOT a normal recurrence. It is a deterrent against killing and taking the lives of innocent Israelies. See the difference? Israel knocks down a house instead of knocks out innocent lives.
