Speaking to reporters after a Cabinet meeting Monday, Deputy Bulent Arinc voiced concern over the increasing Palestinian civilian death toll and said Turkey was supporting efforts for a cease-fire between Hamas and Israel.
Turkey has become one of the most outspoken critics of Israel over the war in Gaza, with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan accusing Israel of “barbarism surpassing Hitler.” Erdogan also said frayed ties with Israel would not improve under his watch.
Palestinian officials said at least 550 Palestinians have been killed and 3,350 wounded since the new round of fighting started on July 8. Twenty Israelis, including 18 soldiers, were also killed.
This fool (Tayyip Erdogan) is so desperate to be an Arab Leader that he will say anything against Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, America, etc.. His hope is to sound extremist and hopefully the ignorant mass in Turkey will like him. When Sadat or Saddam were leaders he was a good boy buying products from Israel, Vacationing in Egypt.
As soon as there was an opening for an Arab Leader he jumped in but, did not realize that he had already prostituted himself to other countries for money. He was the one that was giving out secrets about Israel, Egypt and other countries. Now, he wants to look like “Mr. Honest”. However, you can’t fool everyone……
Of course most of Turkish muslims are not so frum and mourning to them means no raki before breakfast.
