The Department of Investigation says Abraham S. was indicted on charges of bribery. The charges carry penalties of four to seven years in prison.
The DOI says Abraham paid an undercover investigator to avoid citations for building violations at the construction site of a 10-story apartment building.
DOI Commissioner Rose Gill Hearn praised the buildings inspector she says reported being offered money by someone at the site.
The 65-year-old Abraham calls the case against him "simple entrapment."

Abraham S. should be calling the $1500 "a bargain", except of course for the few years in jail that he likely deserves. Entrapment? Did the money just fall out of his pocket, or did he take it out and hand in over. I suspect that the only real Frum guy here was the undercover officer!!!
