Monsey, NY - Meat, Bakery Trucks Collide Closing Route 59 |

Tow truck operators remove bread from a truck that collided with a Boar's Head Provisions truck on Route 59 in Monsey this morning. (Vincent DiSalvio/The Journal News)

The injuries are believed to be minor, said Ramapo police Sgt. Mike Colbath. A driver and a passenger were aboard each truck.
The collision occurred on Route 59 at Remsen Avenue. Route 59 is closed between Remsen and Augusta avenues while police investigate the crash.
The road is expected to remain closed until after 8:30 a.m.

oh the injuries were serious. i took video of the scene (5:30 am) andboth trucks are totaled. the bakery truck fell asleep and drove wrong way. his passenger was ejected.
