Monsey, NY - A Boar’s Head delivery truck collided head-on with a bakery truck on Route 59, injuring several people, strewing loaves of bread around the scene and closing a portion of the road.

The injuries are believed to be minor, said Ramapo police Sgt. Mike Colbath. A driver and a passenger were aboard each truck.
The collision occurred on Route 59 at Remsen Avenue. Route 59 is closed between Remsen and Augusta avenues while police investigate the crash.
The road is expected to remain closed until after 8:30 a.m.

    comments - arrow oh the injuries were serious. i took video of the scene (5:30 am) andboth trucks are totaled. the bakery truck fell asleep and drove wrong way. his passenger was ejected.
