Foreign officials usually extend every courtesy to Washington’s top diplomat.

Footage taken at the Egyptian presidential palace and seen by Reuters showed an official briefly raising a handheld metal-detecting wand to the lower part of Kerry’s jacket before waving him through for the meeting, which is to discuss how to stop the two-week conflict between Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip.

More than 500 people, the vast majority Palestinians, have died in the fighting.

Kerry appeared for only a few seconds in the footage, which showed his senior aides walking through a stationary metal detector and being checked with a handheld wand. At least one was asked to empty his pockets.

The aides included Kerry’s deputy chief of staff Jonathan Finer, senior adviser David Thorne and spokeswoman Jen Psaki.

Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) issued sharp criticism of US President Barack Obama Tuesday, after the White House’s repeated calls for a cease-fire in Gaza. “It’s disappointing to hear the President of the United States present his request for an immediate ceasefire out of concern toward civilians in Gaza,” Katz said. “What about the citizens of Israel, who have been bombarded by rockets for years and threatened with abductions? What about the IDF forces, who have paid a heavy price to complete their mission?”

Maybe they were looking for the knife he used to stab Israel in the back.

Lol I can’t say he doesn’t deserve the disrespect considering his pathetic policies, but it’s so nice to see him suffering it at the hands of the arabs for whom he and Obama bend over backwards trying to please and appease.

During his visit, Netanyahu spoke to dozens of foreign ambassadors, and told them that he expects them to not only support Israel in its fight against terrorism, but also to stand up to Hamas.

“Any democracy would have done what Israel is doing to defend itself,” he declared.

Obama is such a hypocrite. The Americans led the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. In Afghanistan is is estimated that as at February 2014, more than 21,000 Afghans were killed in the conflict. In Iraq there are more than 133,000 individually recorded civilian deaths since the 2003 invasion of Iraq due to direct war related violence. The US led the coalitions in both countries. Obama, what is so rich about Palestinian Arabs blood that you are so bothered about a few hundred? Oh and was it the case that the US coalition countries were directly threatened by terrorists digging under their borders as Israel is?

Kerry’s swift boat comrades are probably convulsing in laughter as he couldn’t hit the side of a barn with a bazooka.

To #7 -Charlie: You would have people on this site believing that the 21,000 Afghan civilian deaths, and the 133,000 Iraqi civilian deaths were perpetrated by the US Armed forces. In fact, the majority of those deaths were caused by sectarian violence, and suicide bombers within Iraq and Afghanistan. It was only the other day that a suicide bomber in Kabul blew himself up and killed 89 people. In the three years that the USA has been out of Iraq, thousands upon thousands of civilians have been killed by savages who reside within that horrible country. Therefore, don’t blame the USA, for homicides perpetrated by savage beasts from the jungle!
