YNETNEWS.com (http://bit.ly/1tuSivk) reports that special attention is now focused on Hamas political head Khaled Mashal, leader of Gaza Ismail Haniyeh, who according to sources was a leading voice in rejecting Egypt’s attempt at a ceasefire last week.
Photos of Mashal playing tennis, using a gym, and extravagantly dining in Qatar have resurfaced, while a critical Twitter campaign against Mashal has popped up in Egypt titled, “No hello and no welcome, Khaled Mashal.”
One of Egypt’s leading proponents in the campaign against Mashal is journalist Ahmad Musa, who issued a challenge to the Hamas leader during a recently televised broadcast.
“If you’re a man and a hero,” Musa directed at Mashal, “tomorrow get on the first plane and enter the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing. Your followers in Gaza will greet you and get you into hiding with Ismail Haniyeh.”
