The Israeli military confirmed troops had used “riot dispersal means” against protesters who threw rocks and firebombs at them and blocked a road with burning tyres.

The protest erupted after allies of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah movement marched from the West Bank city of Ramallah to the edges of Jerusalem in protest against Israel’s war against Hamas militants in Gaza where the Palestinian death toll has topped 760.

A doctor at Ramallah hospital said three people died of bullet injuries, including a man in his 20s who was injured in the head, while at least 100 other people were treated for various injuries after the protest.

Israel Radio said the protest appeared to be the largest since a 2000-2005 Palestinian uprising.

Israeli troops have killed two other Palestinians this week in smaller confrontations in the West Bank, territory Israel captured along with Gaza in a 1967 war.

Palestinians protested during the night prayers in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. EPAProtests were also reported in Jerusalem, where police confronted Palestinian protesters in and near the old walled city, including outside a flashpoint holy site revered by Muslims and Jews.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said several officers were injured by rocks thrown at them in Jerusalem and that about 20 protesters were arrested.

Oh my,first Gaza and now the West Bank the situation doesn’t get better.

We must pray for the well being of our fellow yidden in Israel that includes praying for the IDF that no one should get killed or injured.

But we should not pray for the success of the IDF meaning they should kill as much Arabs as possible becuase these Hamas terrorist are hiding among women and children and killing civilians are angering Arabs worldwide against worldwide Jewry.

Jews do not need to suffer becuase of Israel. True Torah Jews never wanted a state before Moshiach comes and the world needs to know whatever Israel does is not the view of Torah Jews.

I am disgusted by Neturei Karta protests against our people for these strikes. If that’s their brand of Judaism you can count me out

Maven – Who in your eyes are “Torah Jews”? How about those of us that observe all applicable mitzvot?

Look at the pictures of these so called “innocent civilians” whose deaths and injury Maven and AlterG keep bemoaning, instead of siding with the righteous and TRULY innocent Jews. Anyone siding with these savages is seriously morally bankrupt, and mentally bankrupt too.

Its time for a one state solution. That is the only thing that can possibly work. For a start there can be very little international complaints if Israel needs to quiet down some rowdy citizens even no matter what it would take. There would not be an accusation of proportionate response when Israel is dealing with internal disruptions. The Israeli answer will simply be mind your own business. This is our country and we deal with things the way we need to in our country. Whereas when Israel goes into another territory such as Gaza then you have International observers telling Israel what it can or cannot do.

The other most obvious thing is that now that the Palestinians are aware of the powerful weapon of tunnels, Israel has to make certain that there are no tunnels dug from the West Bank area into other areas of Israel. Its not hard to imagine the terrible shape Israel would be if it does not have full control over the West Bank. There would be the constant threat and worry that someone may be digging under your house and pop up anywhere.

The only solution for Israel is a one state solution. Ironically enough a one state solution would also be much better for Arabs as well.
