Brussels – Close to one thousand people gathered at a peaceful rally outside the Israeli embassy in Brussels on Sunday in support of Israel and to protest against the usage of anti-Semitic rhetoric that has been popping up at rallies in Belgium speaking out against Operation Protective Edge.

EJPRESS.org (http://bit.ly/UDgRcX) reports that rally organizer Simon Bretholz said the increasing use of anti-Semitic slogans in recent pro-Palestinian rallies in Brussels and Antwerp has become particularly disturbing in light of the May 24th Jewish Museum terror attack, and that Israeli supporters came to “urge Belgian politicians” to step up against the use of such language.
“The Jewish community is in danger when we hear ‘Death to the Jews’ in the streets only two months after the anti-Semitic terror attack at the Jewish Museum in Brussels,” Bretholz said.
Featured at the rally was the airing of a siren similar to the one sounded in Israel at incoming rockets, followed by a memorial ceremony during which 42 candles were lit bearing the names of the IDF soldiers killed so far in Operation Protective Edge.

This just highlights once again the vast difference between us and them. The savages start fires, attack police and burn cars while they scream their anti Semitic vitriol against Jews. Contrast that with our peaceful rallies. The chosen ones are indeed to be a light unto the world.
