NYDAILYNEWS.com (http://nydn.us/1o63tFv) reports that according to insiders, the fact that the state has been able to generate income on the 165,000 sq. ft. structure by leasing it out to movie studios and other community events has caused the state to pull back on its promise from last April that it would soon be accepting bids.

The state’s decision has thrown a monkey wrench into plans by Hasidics to use the space to better accommodate the community’s over-30,000 children who are currently enrolled in private neighborhood schools.

According to state records, the armory has pulled in $667,000 since March of 2012 in rental income.

Great. we the people when we dance around Cuomo and talk all the none sense when we go to our Rabunim to drum up votes for the governor were sitting and smiling like little kids as i witnessed. And the warning was given to be careful what we should ask him. Instead of telling our governor “your looking for our votes” fine were in a situation were you can help us by unloading the armory and give us that one time chance to let our new generation get the proper Chinich. Now eat the monkey wrench……
