Children were playing on a swing when the strike hit the park in the Shati refugee camp on the edge of Gaza City, said Ayman Sahabani, head of the emergency room at nearby Shifa Hospital.

He gave the death toll and said 46 people also were wounded.

The strike on the park occurred a few minutes after the hospital’s outpatient clinic was hit, leaving several people wounded. Camera crews were prevented from filming the area of impact at Shifa.

Gaza’s police operations room, Civil Defense and Sahabani said the deaths and injuries were caused by Israeli airstrikes.

Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, an Israeli army spokesman, denied Israel was involved. “This incident was carried out by Gaza terrorists whose rockets fell short and hit the Shifa Hospital and the Beach (Shati) camp,” he said.

shakranim … liars and murderers … the IDF should just finish them off. I don’t say that lightly, every IDF soldier lost is a world lost, but unfortunately, there is no choice.

I have no idea who fired what. I did happen to see the video on CNN a few minutes ago. That was some excellent shooting. Right in the middle of the schoolyard with no apparent adjustment of fire. I could have been a cruddy rocket warhead that got lucky. It sure looks like a well-aimed shot.

The savages ‘who can’t shoot straight’ purposely aimed at the hospital hoping to blame Israel for it. They kill their own kind just for the sake of blaming Israel. Eradicate these miserable wretches from the face of the earth!

Look at the success rate of those rockets. Their theory is if you send many errant rockets one may hit an Israeli target. The possibility of killing their own people is given no consideration snce they are expendable under Hamas rule.

Hamas knows that with each gazan killed, Israel gets more condemnation from the nations and is then pressjre to ceasefire with no preconditions. These are inhuman savagez who wi uld iikk their own mothers, and think nothing of letting as many civilians including children die, to further their murderous agenda.
