The incident took place in an apartment building in the vicinity of Avenue M and E 18th Street this past Sunday night.

Video surveillance shows the unidentified young woman entering the building at 9:34 PM with her pocketbook slung over her right shoulder, with two young black men following her just seconds later.

As all three entered the building’s elevator, security footage shows the two men dragging the woman out of the elevator and throwing her to the floor of the building’s hallway.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, the two men kicked and punched the victim during the 35 second assault.

Both men can be seen on video footage running out of the building less than one minute after the assault began, with one assailant throwing the woman’s pocketbook into nearby shrubbery as he fled.

The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital where she was treated for her injuries and later released.

Below video footage shows the suspects beating the woman.

The two who engaged in that vicious assault, are nothing but savages from the jungle. Three summers ago, while visiting Brooklyn, I was walking with my brother back from Shul on Erev Shabbos. We made the mistake of walking on Nostrand Avenue, between Avenue K and Avenue L. We should have taken a side street, but for some reason, my brother decided to take Nostrand Avenue. There were perhaps two dozen teenagers fighting with each other, on that street.. However, when my brother and I passed, they decided to throw water balloons near us. When they broke, the water splattered all over our suits. Now, if this were Yidden doing this against minority residents going to and from church, the local authorities would have addressed that problem. However, since it was the other way around, they could care less. One local resident, who himself was a minority member, tried to excuse their savage behavior by stating “kids”. When I told him, “YEH, KIDS”, he looked at me strangely, as if to say, that they were engaging in normal behavior.

I don&#8 217;t understand any of you&#8 211; a violent crime was committed against an unarmed woman&#8 211;this could have been your daughter, sister, wife, cousin, granddaughter. I don&#8 217;t hear a word of horror that this woman went through. Only #8 brought up the subject. Shame on all of those who didn&#8 217;t show compassion for this woman, only to berate and ridicule those who perpetrated this crime. I hope the woman is ok&#8 211;I&#8 217;m sure she will have a long way to mental recovery from this horrible episode
