New York, NY - OSHA Sending More Inspectors at Construction Sites |

The Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration says the inspectors will examine high-rise construction sites, cranes and other spots where deaths and serious accidents have been happening.
The Department of Labor says OSHA will review the inspectors' findings and examine whether further steps need to be taken.
At least 16 people have died this year in construction accidents, most of them in two crane collapses.
The city has taken other steps to increase construction site safety.

A dozen? That's it? What a joke? By the time they ascess the needs, it will be 18 months from now. And that's IF they actually start now. Don't be surprised if they have to be budgeted first and won't begin until January 2009.
