Ferguson, MO – Some incidents of looting and vandalism have been reported after a vigil held for an unarmed black man shot and killed by a suburban St. Louis police officer.

A few thousand people had crammed the street Sunday night for the vigil for 18-year-old Michael Brown, who died a day earlier.
An Associated Press reporter saw some people looting a convenience store. Other witnesses reported seeing car windows kicked out.
Several dozen protesters sat down in street in a face-off with police in riot gear. Police made no move toward them.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. St. Louis county officials did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
Police say Brown was shot multiple times after a scuffle involving the officer and two people.

Has everyone noticed how the media has not stated that “a White cop was the shooter”? When the shooter involves a minority cop, the silence from the news media is deafening! Also, the news media keeps stressing that the deceased “was shot eight times”. Recently, there was a video shown, which was released from a small town police vehicle, taken last year. The incident involved a traffic stop involving a female and a male cop. The driver who was stopped, was White. For some crazy reason, the driver, who would have just been given a ticket, came out of his car shooting, injuring one of the cops. They returned fire, and the shooter must have been hit 7 or 8 times, before he went down. While he was being hit, and still had his gun out, he kept yelling “kill me, kill me”. It isn’t like it appears in the movies, where one shot does the job. The Attorney for the deceased stated that his client “had problems with authority”. In this particular case, the cops reported that they told two individuals to walk on the sidewalk, and not in the street. There is probably a video of this incident. However, the news media should not rush to judgment.

I am pro-cop, and in fact am a senior attorney who works for a law enforcement agency. That said, the conclusory and gratuitous anger…racist hatred actually… showed by TexasJew and STL Yid…the gratuitous nonsense of fat36….the oh so professorial sounding bull of Comments…are embarrassing.
Fact is, white on black police misconduct by a few officers in this countey is a continuing serious problem that law enforcement agencies are grappling with. We need to have an open mind when reading such a story…not a biggoted closed one.
I’m sure you aschlochen would understand the issue if it was framed in the context of Israeli police and Chareidim…but you’re too racist and egotistical as Yidden to see it affecting anyone else. In effect, you have no mora principles here…just tribal identity.
