Edgartown, MA – President Barack Obama says the United States will continue to confront Islamic State extremists despite the brutal murder of journalist James Foley.

Obama says the entire world is “appalled” by Foley’s killing. The president says he spoke Wednesday with Foley’s family and offered condolences.
Obama says the Islamic State abducts women and children, and tortures, rapes, enslaves and kills people. He said the Islamic State targets Christians and other minorities and aims to commit genocide.
Obama spoke Wednesday from Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, where he’s vacationing with his family, a day after the militants released a video showing the American journalist being beheaded.
Obama, it’s not only the Islamic state that’s causing these types of atrocities it’s the thugs in Syria, Hamas et al.
You’d think the world would see who these savages truly are and maybe empathize somewhat with Israel but it wont happen until and only when terrorism hits the Western world and the US, G-d forbid.
Murder 3 Jewish teenagers and the world goes about it’s business complacently.
Mr. President, I don’t recall you being appalled when one of the 3 teenagers (the American citizen) was kidnapped and killed by Hamas!
I demand a ceasefire, unconditional.
It seems that the world doesn’t realize the extent of the Islamic threat. Obama offers condolences to a bereaved family but does very little to counter the hordes poised to wage jihad against Western civilization. . Right now, Israel is the only nation fighting what will eventually be the Western world’s battle against Islam. Unless we act now, we may be doomed.
While we understand the right America has to defend itself we urge both sides, ISIS & the USA to commit to a ceasefire, unconditionally.
ISIS is no different than hamas. The world must look at the beheading video and finally face reality: these are not humans, these are savage cannibals who are not interested in humanity or any case. They only know savagery, baseless vile hatred and terrorism. Just as our clueless Muslim born president must understand by now there’s no negotiating with ISIS, there should be no pressure on Israel to try useless negotiations with hamas either. They’re all one and the same,
