Redmond, WA – A news report out Thursday indicated that Microsoft is poised to give the world a glimpse at a new-generation computer operating system that will succeed Windows 8.

The US software titan could hold an event as early as the end of September to provide a look at a version of what is expected to be called “Windows 9,” according to technology news website The Verge.
The introduction will be aimed at developers behind programs designed for computers powered by Windows software.
Microsoft was said to be working on a separate version of Windows for smartphones and tablets.
So the all new version 8 where they rolled out 1 version for computers, tablets and smartphones will be superseded by the all new version 9 – that has a separate version for computers, tablets and smartphones!
I can just imagine that version 10 will be the all new all in one version for everything…again!
How much more of my software won’t work with the new version?

Win 8 is the updated version of Vista and Windows 2000 that everyone realized was pure crap.
XP and win 7 were great: they did what we needed and wanted. Win 8 is pure crap that does what we don’t want.
Let us hope that Micro$lop will actually have us lowly consumers in mind when they shove win 9 upon us.
lazerx Win 2000 wasn’t good? Sorry but win2000 was the best they ever made and many companies and private ppl still use it.
