Beitar Illit – The attempted lynching of an Israeli man from Beitar Illit by Arab thugs was thwarted on Tuesday when IDF soldiers and border police, after being alerted by eyewitnesses, rescued the man as he was being dragged back into neighboring Husan.

Israeli media outlet 04 (http://bit.ly/1on0aKq) reports that the incident began when a group of Arabs began throwing rocks at the car of the Israeli man who had driven to the border of Beitar Illit and Husan to meet a liaison who had goods for him which he had purchased from Arab companies in Husan.
Following the rock ambush, the Arabs then dragged the man from his car, kicking and beating him while attempting to drag him into Husan.
After alert eyewitnesses contacted authorities, IDF soldiers and border police arrived quickly and rescued the injured man before his attackers could finish their mission.
Reps from Hatzalah also arrived in short time and treated the man before transporting him to a local hospital with severe injuries.
IDF reps said it was a “miracle” that the man wasn’t murdered and that an investigation into the matter is now ongoing.
