Thousands of Palestinians flooded on to the streets of Gaza City, including gunmen — some from Hamas — who fired in the air in celebration just moments after the truce began, AFP correspondents said.
Mosques used their loudspeakers to broadcast celebratory chants of “God is greatest” as the wartorn enclave hailed the apparent end to some of the worst Israeli-Palestinian violence in a decade.

Nebech, these fools have learnt nothing, zero, zilcho.
They could have avoided all this death and mayhem, not to mention billions of dollars in damages had they not fired any missiles into Israel.
Now, they’re being convinced that they won this war against Israel. What have they won, pray tell? Israel hasn’t give in to any of their demands. This is the same exact deal they were given in their previous engagement with Israel, some years ago.
This conflict will only repeat itself in another two or three years down the road because as you can see they haven’t learnt not to mess with Israel. It’s their loss though!
Oh another ceasefire… is this the tenth or the eleventh? making peace with a wild animal till it gets hungry again.. most of these uncivilized creatures need a bath cause they stink out from the pictures especially the shvitzing ones.
