The community must hire a private security force with many armed patrol cars for Friday nite and Shabbos day to cruise all around the neighborhood, especially up and down 10th avenue where the Shuls are located.

The local police force has no budget to be of any meaningful help, and a private security force is a starting point.

I realize that many in the frum community there have gun permits, and as word gets out, that too will be a deterrent, and a few well placed “warning” signs to that effect will do wonders in informing the public at large what possibly awaits them.

Better lighting outside in front of homes, and especially in the backyards, and keeping those lights ON, as well as more security cameras, everywhere ,is crucial for meaningful security.
