East Orange, NJ – State Police say at least three people are dead in a crash on Interstate 280 in northern New Jersey.

Trooper Alina Spies says a tractor-trailer traveling eastbound struck several vehicles at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday.
Spies says other people were injured, but the number and the extent of their injuries is not yet known.
The accident remains under investigation.
The crash has closed the right lane and eastbound motorists are facing delays.
