Doha – Mashaal Says Latest Conflict With Israel Not The Last, Hamas Will Not Disarm

Hamas political leader Moussa Abu Marzouk (R) shakes hands with a Hamas militant as he visits the mourning tent of senior Hamas commander Mohammed Abu Shammala (seen in posters), who was killed by an Israeli air strike during the seven-week Israeli offensive, in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip August 28, 2014. ReutersDoha – Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal said on Thursday the latest war between Israel and Hamas would not be the last round of conflict between the two, but a “milestone to reaching our objective.”

“This is not the end. This is just a milestone to reaching our objective, we know that Israel is strong and is aided by the international community. We will not restrict our dreams or make compromises to our demands,” Mashaal said at a news conference in the Qatari capital, Doha.

Mashaal said that Israel’s siege on Gaza had failed. “This war was forced upon us,” he said at the conference which centered on the results of the seven-week operation in Gaza.

The political leader said “reconstructing Gaza is the duty of the national consensus government and of the free world.”

He vowed that the Palestinians did not give up on their demands to end the siege and build an airport and sea port and “did not abandon our demands to release our prisoners.”

He called on Egypt to open the Rafah border crossing with Gaza. “We call on Egypt to open the Rafah border as a brotherly action.”

Meshaal also rejected any attempt to disarm his Palestinian Islamist movement in Gaza as demanded by Israel, saying the group’s weapons were “sacred”.

“The weapons of the resistance are sacred and we will not accept that they be on the agenda” of future negotiations with Israel, Meshaal told a news conference in Doha where he lives in exile.

Israel has consistently linked the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, devastated during its 50-day war with Hamas that ended on Tuesday, to the territory’s demilitarisation.

But Meshaal insisted that Hamas will not lay down its arms.

“The issue is not up for negotiations. No one can disarm Hamas and its resistance,” he said of the Palestinian fighters.

like I said all during this conflict:

hamas must be eliminated entirely,NOW,before they RE-arm themselves,as they want a DEAD Israel.

They are telling Israel they are not “finished” and I think we all agree we can Believe it when THEY SAY IT !!!

The Israeli govt is delusional if they think there will ever be peace with these savages who are ready to DIE and DIE trying to annihilate Israel which is their end game

By the time that happens, if Moshiach isn’t here first, Obama won’t be President anymore, unless he declares marshall law and cancels the election. Any nrew President would be a whole lot better and would have a tougher time tying Israel’s hands. Hopefully, Israel will have a PM with more of a backbone then too.

I would offer them a deal. They may buy various goods from Israel. On this list are electricity, food, medical supplies, even the medical care at Israeli hospitals, etc. These are to purchased, with the goods and services paid for in weapons and ammunition. Within a few weeks, they should be cleaned out. If we know via intelligence and surveillance that they have lied, we just don’t sell.

This might not be feasible, but it is not a bad idea.

After reading this, can anyone figure out what Bibi accomplished for Israel by agreeing to this phony one-sided ceasefire which only benefits the terrorists????
