Yair Lapid made the remarks Sunday, about a week after Israel and Hamas militants reached a truce after almost two months of fighting that devastated parts of Gaza.
Lapid said the group should include Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries, and hold a conference soon to discuss the matter.
Hamas has rejected demands it disarm, insisting it will never lay down its weapons.
Israel and Hamas agreed last Tuesday to an open-ended truce. The cease-fire brought an immediate end to the fighting but left key disputes unresolved.
EXCUSE ME??? MY tax shekels should go to rebuilding that cesspit? Is he insane? Let the Arabs rebuild & we will disarm them…in whatever way is appropriate.
How about the other way around: disarm first and THEN talk about rebuilding! Unbelievable that bibi gave in to hamas demands without even sticking to his word about not giving in on the disarming condition of his. Why did he cave? For what? Empty terrorists’ promises to stop shooting rockets? What exactly did. Israel get out of this, how that gas already is seeing the border restrictions being lifted?????
what a contemptible waste of jewish money.
