New York - a new cervical-cancer vaccine heavily marketed to woman in ubiquitous ads is under investigation for possible links to paralysis, seizures, and 18 deaths.
Federal health officials have logged 8,000 "adverse events" in girls and women injected with the Merck & Co. vaccine introduced two years ago, more than 500 of them from New York.
Gardasil was licensed by the Food and Drug Administration in June 2006 for females ages 9 to 26. Sold worldwide, it's been given to more than 8 million US girls and women, Merck says.
The vaccine is aimed at warding off strains of the human papillomavirus, or HPV, which can lead to cancer. The vaccinations cost a total $360.

Exploiting women's bodies for profit is nothing new. The drug corporations reach from America to China and on every global point, their financial interests, a trillion dollar industry -is pouring chemicals and all kinds of undertested/lied about/dangerous chemical compounds into people that end up in our drinking water, food chain, and as a result in all our bodies from hormones like estrogen that never degrades/birth control pills, to chemo and every drug that upon being excretion from patient's and customer's bodies leaches into the ground, lakes, and ponds and rivers. We are all on drugs whether we want to be or not or have a perscription or over the counter drugs filled medicine cabinet! What about fertility drugs? What do those do to the rest of us? The orchestration of "Global warning" is a fraud scientifically unproval gaining financial access to all our pockets - how about global medicated of our planets inhabitants? How about that!
Marketing in our fast paced communications era requires education in truth and disciplines to protect people from greed especially when it comes to our bodies and health.
