NY1.com (http://bit.ly/1nDAr1k) reports that Witriol, whose bother has since joined him on the force, will be moving on from his current status with the transit bureau in Brooklyn to a new assignment at the 13th Precinct in Manhattan.
Witriol, who’s career in law enforcement began back in 2003 as an auxiliary officer, said the promotion came as somewhat of a surprise, but nevertheless is viewing it as an opportunity to connect with more people on behalf of the community.
Asked about the inherent concerns that come with being the parents of two NYPD officers, Witriol’s father Louis said he and his wife are aware of the risks, but have been fine so far due to constant communication with their sons.
“If they are going to be late, they let us know because my wife is a very nervous lady,” Louis Witriol said.
New York’s finest…indeed.
What in the world makes him chassidish??????????????????
Much hatzlacha. Always wear tzitzis and a vest and you’ll be ok.
A real kiddush hashem may he succeed in his career and make proud klall yisroel.
Former Hasidic
What nachas!
He looks litvish to me. He may be a very wonderful person but chassidic he is not. Maybe he originally comes from a hasidic family but subsequently left the tribe. He neither dresses chassidish etc. Is it his long payos or beard that make him look chassidish.
To numbers 2 and 7, you are both FABISIN people.
Some of these comments smack of ultra sinaas chinom. Who cares if he is chasidic or not. No beard makes him un-chasidic? It’s a kiddush Hashem period. Der Eibishter zuhl ehm heeten mikol dovor roh.
how low have we stooped?
So nice!!! Wish him tons of Hatzlocha.
Just curious, what happens Shabbos and Yom Tov?
