New York – 9/11 Families React Differently To WTC Changes

    But others are not so sure.

    Nancy Nee lost her firefighter brother, George Cain. She says some people forget that the site is a cemetery.

    Nee says she “would never go to the Holocaust museum and take a selfie.”

    But others feel change is an important part of the healing process.

    Debra Burlingame’s brother, Charles, was the pilot of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon.

    Burlingame says that seeing One World Trade Center makes her heart “sing.”

    She says it’s an important symbol of what the country went through.

    She wants to see the area bustling, alive and bursting with business.
