NYPOST.com (http://bit.ly/YIfA7k) reports that 30 year-old Artyom Matusov said he just couldn’t in good conscience allow Bratton to deceive council members with numbers that were purposely skewed to show that use of force in NYPD arrests has decreased in recent years.

Matusov, who was pink-slipped on Friday, said he contacted media friends and council members with the truth after deciding “something needs to be done.”

An NYPD spokesman said Matusov has “grossly misinterpreted” the numbers Bratton used in his presentation, while a City Council spokesman had no comment.
