The Rockland County district attorney says Maria Guaman-Guaman will also be deported to her native Ecuador after serving her sentence.
Guaman-Guaman pleaded guilty in June to first-degree manslaughter. Mental health experts said she had been under extreme emotional disturbance.
The infant’s body was left in a bin outside a store in Spring Valley in November and was found later at a recycling center in Elmsford. Other items in the trash helped trace the baby to Spring Valley.
The district attorney said the case should be a reminder that New York permits the anonymous surrender of unwanted infants at hospitals and police stations.
Only twelve years for murdering an innocent child; what’s up with that?
12 years for an infanticide is way to light. In any well-adjusted society this monster would be promptly executed. But the sentencing judge apparently took into consideration an extenuating circumstance: she was only couple of days to late. If she did it to her son just a couple of days earlier, she would have been exercising her right to choose and praised by the liberals.
If only she would have killed him a month earlier while she was pregnant, then not only would it be no problem, medicaid would probably cover the cost.
12 years for murder of a innocent baby, but 25 years for Rubasken? It seems that to Americans, money is more important than life!
Of course, if she had fudged the figures to a bank to keep her business running, she would’ve gotten 30 years. But murder? Not a biggie to the goyim.
Why does the USA have to room and board her for 12 years and then send her back? Send her back now (oh, maybe they won’t jail her for her crime)
