In an interview with a New York Times reporter (http://nyti.ms/1o3I41b) this summer, Snowden said that information that was transferred to Israel was never “minimized,” or names and identifiable information was never removed.
Snowden says the communications included emails and phone calls of Arab- and Palestinian Americans with relatives in Israel and the Palestinian territories that could become targets based on the intercepted information.
Last week, 43 veterans of Unit 8200 accused the organization of using information collected against Palestinians for “political persecution.” They said information was collected about their sexual orientations, financial problems, medical conditions and other private information that could be used to force Palestinians to collaborate with Israel.
The veterans stated they could no longer, “take part in the state’s actions against Palestinians.”
According to documents leaked by Snowden, the N.S.A. has been sending intelligence to Israel since March 2009.

It is time that snowdon be quietly sent to the happy hunting grounds
If the US government gave the information to Israel, that is one thing. If people in the American security apparatus did it on their own, it is certainly another thing entirely.
It is always a thin line between a country’s defense and Big Brother coming to enslave you. It takes great wisdom and honesty to distinguish between the two. Whom would you trust with this mission?
