    Brooklyn, NY – Police are on the lookout for an unidentified man who tried to hack his way into an ATM at a Borough Park bank.

    Video surveillance from Berkshire Bank at 5010 13 Avenue show the man entering the bank at 12:08 AM Monday morning.

    The suspect is described as a white male, age 35 to 40 years old, between 5’8 and 5’10 and weighing approximately 180 pounds.

    The man was wearing a hat with a turned down brim, a jacket and glasses when he tried to unsuccessfully to break into the ATM using a saw.

    “The suspect was inside for approximately four minutes,” an NYPD spokesperson told VIN News. “He did not get any money from the location and he fled the scene.”

    Bank personnel contacted  the 66th Precinct at 9 AM Monday morning when they discovered evidence of the attempted robbery.
