Officials describe the suspect, 31-year-old Eric Frein (freen), as a self-taught survivalist who hates police.
Authorities say putting Frein on the most wanted list will allow the FBI to use more resources in the manhunt. The agency is also offering a $100,000 reward.
Police said Thursday they believe the shooter is still in the rural area where the attack occurred.
Frein is accused of gunning down 38-year-old Cpl. Bryon Dickson last week outside a barracks in the Pocono Mountains. Another trooper was wounded.
The development comes just hours after Dickson’s funeral.
No way he will be captured alive.
Whoever got bumped off the list should sue.
