The meeting is expected to focus on Iran, Islamic State, and Netanyahu’s proposal to involve moderate Arab countries in solving the conflict with the Palestinians. But MKs Nachman Shai (Labor) and Ayelet Shaked (Bayit Yehudi) said Pollard’s release on humanitarian grounds should be on the table, too.

“The years are passing and nothing is happening,” the MKs said in a joint statement. “Pollard remains in prison and there is no release date. There is no value in continuing to hold him. His fate should not be tied to that of Palestinian prisoners. He has served too long and it is time to free him.”

Effi Lahav, who heads the Pollard campaign, said that in addition to matters of justice and Pollard’s frail health, there is a new reason to release him: the collaboration of Israel and the US in fighting terror.

“The strategic cooperation, including in intelligence, between Israel and the US in the war on terror proves more than ever that the Pollard saga must end,” Lahav said.

” MKs To Netanyahu: Bring Pollard Home “…………… Pollard is home. He was born in the US. He broke US law and is receiving just punishment for his actions.

He sold out his “home” country for money……. no pity for him. May he rot in the
    hell he put himself in.

Pollard is too valuable a bargaining chip, they’ll never let him go.

Oh and reply to 1. You’re a sick pervert, go comment on some jihad site. Come back when you have a true orthodox conversion

No release unless Kerry & Obama can benefit from it, like when they were on the verge of letting him go in return for Israel releasing the 4th batch of murderers which didn’t happen in the end.

But you still hear the insane theory from people that he needs to be locked up for life because he ‘knows to much’ or he ‘deserves it’…

He will not be released early. Israel has nothing to offer the Americans. I doubt he will ever be released.

I also want Yonason’s release because he is a yid who already spent more than two thirds of his adult life in prison. As a matter of fact, I would want his release if this was his second day in prison. Because he is a yid. I hope it’s tonight.

That clarified, I can’t help being more than a little bit surprised with one question. Many men say that Yonason has been eligible for parole for a number of years and declines to apply. Some of the men who say this I know well, and they are intelligent and sincere. Yet, nobody can satisfactorily explain why (there are “theories” and conjectures but I am not mkabel any of that).

So, can somebody here confirm that it is so, i.e. that Yonason is eligible and doesn’t apply? And if so, why doesn’t he?

    Thanks in advance.
