Bnei Brak, Israel - A 2-year-old boy was run over by truck when he fell out of his carriage, which his 7-year-old sister was pushing across the street.

The carriage tilted when the girl, who was walking beside her mother, pushed it from the curb into the street, and the baby, who was not properly belted in, flew out.

The truck was just turning the corner at the time and ran over the baby. Magen David Adom emergency medical service crew rushed to the scene from their nearby headquarters, and took him to Tel Hashomer hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon thereafter.

The driver of the truck said the carraige was still on the curb when he started the turn and he did not have time to stop.

well we see this all the time on 13th ave, kids pushing babies and the mothers just spacing out. We also see mothers with their cariages in the street waiting to cross and they still on the sidewalk. GO figure

You people are amazing, a mother loses her child and instead of feeling bad for her, you say it must be a junky stroller or she was on the phone forget empathy what about sympathy? Is there no thing called unpreventable tragedy?

Maybe the mother was holding on to 2 younger kids so that they should not run across the street? Why is everyone jumping upon the negligence of mothers?
This woman has suffered a mothers worst nightmare H"Y. Don't judge.

I seem to find it interesting that everyone in VIN is an expert in law, childcare, and anything else that happens in the news. Extremely educated idiots on VIN.
