New York – Pro-Israel Group Calls On Netanyahu To Withdraw Criticism Of US

FILE- Jstreet conferenceNew York – Pro-Israel group J Street is criticizing Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statement on the CBS program “Face the Nation” on Sunday, when he said U.S. criticism of an Israeli move for a new Jewish settlement in East Jerusalem was “against American values,” calling it an ” outrageous perversion of the truth.”

The group released a statement Monday calling for Netanyahu to apologize and withdraw his remarks.

“For a foreign leader to characterize the principled opposition to settlements of every US administration since 1967 – the administrations of Presidents Nixon, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama – as being against American values gives new meaning to the word ‘chutzpa,’” said J Street.

VIN News previously reported that the White House White rejected Netanyahu’s criticism. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said, “It did seem odd for him to try to defend the actions of his government by saying our response did not reflect American values.”

Doesn’t anyone at VIN read what get posted here? These guysat J-Street are “pro-Israel”?
They are more pro-Iran than pro-Israel. They are sworn enemies of Israel and the Jewish people intermarried self-haters who get their funding from former nazi-collaborator George Soros.

To #1 , 2, 3 and 4, being pro Israel is not measured in rhetorical value. Using this measurement Netanyahu by himself isn’t as pro Israel as other right wingers.

Being pro Israel is measured by living on this world, not in fantasy land where you think a speech in the UN comparing ISIS to Hamas, would change minds.

Just imagine Obama calling this action Un-Israeli

If pro-peace is anti-Israel, I guess that means pro-war is pro-Israel. I do not like the way that sounds.

Well listen to the interview and you will see he referred to something else, he referred to the condemning of letting the jews who legally purchased houses in silwan to live there. This is UnAmerican

    J Street Pro-Israel Group??

What is this a comedy site?

J Street is a notorious front for the bleeding heart liberals who think they are such goodie goodies that they champion the Arab side. J Street are Jewish turncoats; Jewish Benedict Arnolds.

Netanyahu wasn’t referring to the condemnation of the building, but of the building itself.
Unfortunately, US condemnation of Israel is an American value.

Still…Netanyahu’s comment was an outrageous, and I think incorrect, violation of international diplomatic norms…It cannot be “good for the Jews” when a Prime Minister of Israel scolds an Americamn President on the issue of adhering to American values…especially when the views the President expressed are both probably fully consonant with those values and consistent with a large proportioof the Israeli public.

Most of you guys are jingoists pure and simple…you expect (correctly) everyone else in the world to buck their leaders’ policies when necessary in the name of morality or correctness…but are completely inacapable of doing so yourselves. Israelis and Yidden can do no wrong…and anyone who might ever say they are wrong is ipso facto an antisemite.
