The program, called Voya Born to Save, was launched as part of National Save for Retirement Week, reports USA Today (http://usat.ly/1onhyWo).

The company is offering this to the babies “as a head start toward their future retirement savings,” said Ann Glover, chief marketing officer for Voya Financial. Glover says the program is a reminder that it’s never too early to contribute to retirement savings.

Parents or guardians of eligible newborns must register for the offer at http://voya.com/BornToSaveby Dec. 19.
