“There is no grey area” in the fight against terrorism, Abdullah said, reports The Jordan Times (http://bit.ly/10ipvRR).

He emphasized that Jordan will always fight against terrorism and extremism regardless of their sources or advocates, and that fighting the war against terrorism isn’t something that will happen within one to two years.

“If the military battle takes a brief time, the security and ideological war might extend to 10 or 15 years,” said Abdullah.

The King noted that Jordan’s participation in the war against terrorism is part of an international alliance and that fighting all forms of terrorism starts with efforts at educational levels and through increasing public awareness, a goal of the Lower House in Jordan.

King Abdullah needs a refresher in history because the man he is named after Emir Abdullah was shot to death in 1948 on the steps of the El Aksa Mosque by an Arab because he wanted to make peace with Israel
