Jerusalem – A tree month old baby was critically injured when a car rammed into civilians near a light rail station in Jerusalem, died of her wounds on Wednesday night.

The baby was rushed to Mount Scopus’ Hadassah Medical Center but medical officials announced her death after resuscitation attempts failed.
Seven other people were also injured in the attack
Jerusalem Police said the driver of the car tried to escape but was shot dead by policemen.
The driver who rammed into a crowd of pedestrians in Jerusalem is a resident of east Jerusalem neighborhood Silwan, police confirmed.
He served a previous jail sentence for terror activity, Israel Police said.
