    A Canadian soldier standing guard at a war memorial in Ottowa, Ontario was shot to death Wednesday, and gunfire then erupted inside Parliament. One gunman was killed, and police said they were hunting for as many as two others.

    In response, NYPD officers are sending specialized teams to the Consulate General of Canada.

    NYPD officers are taking precautions, but there have been no specific threats made against any locations.
