Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and California Governor Jerry Brown signed a cooperation agreement to use Israel’s experience with arid lands as a guide to help deal with the drought, reports Ynet News (http://bit.ly/1u7SBAz).
Prof. Eilon Adar of Israel, an expert in groundwater flow systems, visited San Francisco and the Silicon Valley to tour desalination plants. Adar also participated in a statewide conference where a variety of technological solutions were presented.
“If we managed to overcome the water issues in the Middle East, we can do it anywhere in the world,” said Adar. “Nonetheless, (to address the issue) they will need to improve the management and efficiency of the water market and increase and optimize the coordination between the water companies.”
The California drought has severely negatively affected the agriculture industry, with 50 percent of U.S. fruit, vegetables and nuts coming from the state.

Considering the large number of Israelis in California consuming that state’s water, Israel is obligated to help.
While Barack hates Israel, Israelis help America’s largest state with their serious problem. Because we are the people with the soul.
