UNRWA says Malala is donating all of the proceeds of the $50,000 World Children’s Prize, which she collected in Stockholm on Wednesday.

The agency quoted Malala as saying Palestinian children deserve a quality education, and that “without education, there will never be peace.”

Dozens of Gaza’s U.N. schools were damaged or destroyed during the 50-day war. Israel says it fired near schools responding to Hamas’ attacks from the areas.

The 17-year-old Malala won this year’s Nobel Peace Prize for promoting girls’ rights in her native Pakistan. She survived a shot in the head by a Taliban gunman two years ago.

Education? This poor misguided girl thinks that Education is what’s occurring in Gaza? If the the schools in Gaza were actually educating, peace would indeed be the result. Unfortunately what goes on the “UN Schools” in Gaza is incitement, lies, propoganda that is worse than anything of the Nazis’ work, and training grounds for little terrorists. There is a very informative video that shows what is taught in those schools and how they are breeding and fermenting a generation of future enemies of Israel that will destroy any hopes of any remaining liberals and any chances of peace.

This very action just indicates how well the propaganda and media machine is working, even if this would be a good cause, there are many other and better causes to donate to. why Gaza?

“without education, there will never be peace.”

This kind of primitive simplistic narrow-minded thinking was probably acceptable in 1845 but totally discredited by 1945. The Germans, yimach shemam vzichram, were the best educated people in 1939, arguably the best there ever was. A lot of peace it brought us! We would have been much better off then if Germans never existed (or somehow ceased to exist). Come to think of it, we still are.
