REUTERS/Ammar Awad Jerusalem – The funeral for Moataz Hejazi, the east Jerusalem resident who shot and seriously injured right-wing activist Rabbi Yehuda Glick in the capital on Wednesday, took place in Abu Tor on Thursday night.

    Hejazi was killed in an exchange of fire with security forces who tracked him to Abu Tor following the attempt on Glicks’s life.

    Hejazi’s body was handed over to the family following a ruling by the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court. According to Israel Radio, only 45 people were allowed to take part in the funeral in order to prevent disturbances.
