The new clinic will cost $119,726, according to the state.
Helen Hayes, a state-run rehabilitation center in West Haverstraw, will offer physical and occupational therapy to patients who need those services at the New Square clinic.
"This will offer another option for people to get Helen Hayes quality therapy at a different location," said Mary Creagh, spokeswoman for the West Haverstraw facility.
The new clinic is scheduled to open sometime after the first of the year, she said.
It will be staffed by physical therapists and occupational therapists from Helen Hayes. The center will probably hire new workers to fill the positions.

Ummm, very nice for New Squarers, but what about people from Brooklyn who shlep to HH? That's if they're lucky enough to get in there with their insurance.
I have to hand it to the people from NS, KJ, Monroe etc. They really know how to work they system. Then they scream anti-semitism when things DON'T go their way.

Actually, 11:29, I am an extremely successful businesswoman (yes, WOMAN!!) who has achieved great success in my chosen field. However, when I saw my closest friend fight to get her 51 year old husband with a severe TBI from a stroke into HH from Brooklyn, only to see him have to leave because of insurance issues, I cannot help but wonder how some groups get it all & others (and most individuals) get nothing. And by the way, Jake ended up in a lousy nursing home where he is still stuck, years later, because she can't bring him home because of city beaurocracy & insurance issues.
So please, don't bring me into YOUR insecurities!!
Thank you :)

It's sad. When New Square finally does soemthing good for a change, some bitter people must always point out the negative side of it.

You can be a successful whatever, but your bitterness is quite obvious.
