Rabbi Moshe Dovid Niderman, executive director of the United Jewish Organization (UJO) of Williamsburg, together with a dedicated group of activists, organized a media campaign that drew attention to the community discomfort. The coverage was effective in giving the Williamsburg effort positive exposure.
The apparel company, based in Sweden, initially ignored the continuous requests to change the billboard advertisement again. VIN News Has confirmed that H&M has totally removed its billboard advertising this week.
