American CNN reporter Ben Wedeman’s story included the banner that read, “Israeli Gov’t Radio: Police shot, killed 2 Palestinians,” when the story was that the two Palestinians stormed a synagogue and killed four Jews and wounded eight others during morning prayer services.

Dagan stated the headline is a violation of international journalism ethics and says Wedeman’s press license should be revoked.

Dagan also noted that this latest example is part of a trend when it comes to foreign reporters covering stories in Israel.

“CNN’s strange headline is a direct continuation of a series of other reports in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that appeared recently,” Dagan’s letter said, and used the example of coverage of the Jerusalem light rail violence last month by the Associated Press that stated, “Israeli police shot man in East Jerusalem.”

Meanwhile, some of the international media continued to report on the events in Israel in an eyebrow-raising manner on Tuesday.

The website of British newspaper The Guardian ran a story about the attack from Reuters. The wire dispatch the agency sent included the headline ‘Palestinians kill four in Jerusalem synagogue attack’ and led with the sentence: ”Two Palestinians armed with a meat cleaver and a gun killed four people in a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday before being shot dead by police….”

However  The Guardian changed their headline to “Four worshippers killed in attack on Jerusalem synagogue” and in their lead, they also excised any reference to Palestinians, publishing: “Two men armed with axes, knives and a pistol have killed four Israelis and wounded several others in a Jerusalem synagogue …”

In another questionable slant on its coverage, CBC headline their report on the attack with: “Jerusalem police fatally shoot 2 after apparent synagogue attack.”

It is time for Israel to defend itself once and for all and be done with these savages.

I have been telling you that it is not safe to walk the streets of Israel.

i am also by the meaning that Israel should not only ban him from reporting but also deport him from the state, a headline like this can make Arabs wild and cause another attack.

CNN televised copious images of blood from the hate starvation today. I found this criminal. There is no interest in pornographic introduction of hate and its eye to our televisions.

How disgusted I am for CNN.

This is the worst day I have seen television on cable ever.

    Horrible.

    CNN is becoming Al Jazeera.
